We also tailor our training for schools, universities and community groups, adapting the content to the age group and the situations they are most likely to encounter. For organisations outside the Stavanger area, we are happy to discuss national training requests.

Hospitality Safety & Conflict Management

Our Hospitality Safety & Conflict Management training is designed specifically for people working in bars, restaurants, and night‑time venues. The theory led session focuses on recognising behaviour early, understanding how conflict develops, and using clear, confident communication to prevent situations from escalating.

 

Staff learn how to spot warning signs, manage intoxicated or challenging customers, and use safe positioning and de‑escalation techniques that fit naturally into a busy service environment. The training is theory led with practical elements tailored to the pressures of hospitality work — helping teams feel safer, more prepared, and more confident both during service and when travelling to and from work.

7-Session Personal Safety Physical Package

A progressive seven‑session course delivered over seven weeks, designed to bridge the gap between awareness and action. These weekly sessions provide practical, physical tools for real-world interactions, suitable for all fitness levels. This is not a martial arts course, its a practical personal safety course with simple techniques that work.

This structured course takes you from understanding risk to managing real-life scenarios in a safe, controlled environment. We focus on natural responses and proactive safety habits ensuring skills are intuitive and easy to recall without fear-based messaging.

Built on the principles of early action and situational awareness, this package is tailored to the specific risks and responsibilities relevant to your group or workplace. Sessions are between 60 - 90 minutes long.

Weekly Personal Safety Classes

SafeSteps offers inclusive weekly personal safety sessions open to everyone. We create a calm, supportive environment where the focus is on everyday confidence and practical skills. Each session blends clear guidance with simple, real‑world activities that build situational awareness, boundary‑setting, and proactive habits you can use in daily life.

For those who want it, we also offer gentle, skills‑based self‑defence sessions that focus on creating space, using your voice and making safe decisions—without high‑intensity drills or physical pressure.
